Low financing of the agricultural sector which is still declining form 8.1% to 5.3% in 2005 indicating that the agriculture sector (farmers and fish mongers) continues to be marginlised. This outcome affect the farmers by limiting their inputs and engagement in modernized agriculture in order to increase production.
Low level of marketing of agricultural produce / products hindering the growth of the business activities of the peasant farmers.
Establishing policies, legal and regulatory framework, and access to commercial sources of funds that are conducive to rural and micro finance; to be percised farmers. And also the government promoting the consumption of agricultural products in the country.
